The G23 has seen extensive use in law enforcement agencies across the United States and is chambered in the popular .40 Smith & Wesson cartridge. The compact frame allows for a more comfortable carry package while still retaining a larger frame for better handling. The V series model retains all the features of the Gen5 models while incorporating a new internal redesign for improved safety and performance. Retained features from the Gen5 series include the ambidextrous slide stop flared magwell and removal of the traditional finger grooves for improved ergonomics.

Three 10-round magazines are included.
